By igniting 25 units of thermal power plants, 3200 MW has been added to the country's capacity in the past Iranian solar calendar year,Behzad,managing director of Iran's Electricity Development Organization, was quoted as saying in an interview with Ministry of Energy's correspondent here on Tuesday.


Behzad said: In the past Iranian year 488 kilometers of electricity transmission line in the form of 4 national plans was electricified.


He continued: 10 new turbines were added to the country's power plants which this led to have 277 cm saved power plant fuel.


Behzad added: in 2007 the Organization succeeded to implement some first expansive turbines with the total capacity of more than 32 megawatts.

He also said that by carrying out these projects the organization has 100 percent dedicated itself to its commitments.
