Seri Lankan ambassador to Tehran met Iranian Minister of Energy
 
Minister of Energy of Iran, parviz Fattah emphasized on the importance of the two countries relationship and said the acceptance of SriLankan president invitation by president of Iran, in spite of the fact that Ahmadinejad is very busy, shows the importance of the two countries relations.

Fattah said: all those projects to be implemented by Iranian contractors need to be backed by the government of Sri Lanka which we hope to have some.

"the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to transfer with no limitation any technical and engineering technology and achievements to Sri Lanka ' Fattah was quoted as saying here on Tuesday.

SriLankan ambassador called Iranian president's imminent visit to Sri Lanka as fruitful and hoped with Iranian companies' presence in Sri Lanka great number of projects will be carried out by them.
