Iran's electricity network to be connected to Europe next year

Iran's electricity network will be interconnected to the continent of Europe in coincidence with the 27th International Power System Conference next year






Haeri ,Iran Power Distribution and Transmission Company's Managing Director, said: Thanks to the high capability of Iranian experts ,Iran's electricity network will be interconnected to the continent of Europe in coincidence with the 27th International Power System Conference next year,MOE reports him on the opening ceremony of the 26th International Power System Conference in the venue of Niroo Research Institute here in Tehran.

Following the year of "Economic Jihad" as named by the Supreme Leader of I.R.Iran ,the electricity industry has planned to reach 10 titles in different fields ,Haeri said.

Haeri also highlighted the task of CO2 process from the power plants exhausts for the first time in the middle east as well as ranking 5th in the most authentic Transmission Conference in the world .

The secretariat of the conference has received 1391 papers which among the papers some 280 were inked jointly by academics and industrialists

437 papers were accepted and 233 ones will be presented in the conference.

On the sideline of the event 57 workshops as well as an exhibition showcasing the latest achievements from 140 local and foreign countries will be held.
