Parviz Fattah, the Iranian Energy minister, after his recent trip to Syria announced that the two countries went on to have a new contract for constructing a 450-MW power plant, Tesrin.
According to the Ministry of Energy News Site , Fattah pointed to the localization of power plant technology in Iran and said; considering the current political situation, we would face crisis if we were depended on the foreign countries technology.
Pointing to the future plan in 1404, Iranian Energy Minister predicated the 6500 MW installed hydro- power plant as well as 6500 MW under construction hydro- power plant which is going to enter the cycle till the middle of the year 1389.
Besides the country's 25000 MW hydro power plant for the next 25 -year outlook plan Parviz Fattah, by considering the high cost of the gas consumption in Iran added that we have no choice unless to pay attention to the nuclear power plant as an inexpensive way of generating electricity.
Iranian Energy Minister said: Binalood 30MW wind power plant in Mashhad is under construction and Manjil 100MW power plant is also ready to be opened.
Fattah also announced the newly established solar Atlas in Iran
"In addition to previous contracts in electricity between Iran and Turkey we have also signed a fresh one in this regard' Energy Minister, Fattah, was quoted as saying by Ministry of Energy News Site.
