Mazandaran province to have 520litres increase of drinking water per a second | 11 May 2008 13:07  | |

' In addition to repairing 60 kilometers of old and torn water networks, some 70 kilometers will be added to the network of Mazandaran province water supply' ,Salimi, managing-director of water and waste water Co. of the northern province of Mazandaran, was quoted as saying by the Ministry of Energy correspondent on Sunday.
Salimi said; the Construction of a 20-kilometre water distribution pipeline and a reservoir of the capacity around 7680cm in the provincial cities of Katalem,Salman Shahr, Chamestan,Pol Sefid Gazang,and Ramsar are planned for the current Iranian year and added, due to the expert warning about the decrease in precipitation and in order for supplying Mazandaran's citizens drinkink water, around 19wells in the cities of Chamestan , Noor, Mahmood Abad, Kelar Abad,Kelardasht, Sari,Babel,and Fereydoon Kenar will be equipped ,therefore with all above –mentioned projects we will have some 520 liters increase in the province drinking water.
He concluded:'7.2 billion Rls of credit will lever the water supply projects in Mazandaran.
