According to MOE  ,the FIPA, Foreign Investment Package, a law tends to encourage and support foreign investments is the base line for absorbing investments from overseas which in this line so far the power plants of Isfahan ,Parreh sar as well as the combined –cycle power plant of Fars have absorbed more than one billion and 165 million dollars of investment.

 So in this line and based on the report, Germany invested 445 million dollars in gas-fueled power plant of Parreh sar and UAE invested 720 million dollars for the construction of Isfahan power plant as well as Fars Power plant.

According to the Item B of article 22 of the Third Development Plan which is about non-governmental investment and in addition to the policy of Ministry of Energy of Iran methods for the construction of power plants are in B.O.O and B.O.T schemes.

So far the construction of 54 power plants with the capacity of 34129 mw has been handed to private sectors through 15 billion euros in B.O.O scheme and the construction of 5 power plants with the capacity of 4267 mw has been handed to private sectors through 1.9 billion euros of investment.
