Within first 5 months of Iranian Solar Calendar the electricity generation of thermal and hydroelectric power plants of Iran shows 8.36 percent of increase when compared with the same period in last year , MOE reports.

According to the report, in the mentioned period some 102 thousands of Gw/h of electricity was generated while last year the amount was 94223 Gw/h.

From the whole figure the share of thermal power plants stand at 96823 Gw/h and 5278 Gw/h for hydroelectric ones.
